Welcome to the Recreation Deeds for Special Needs website! Here you will find useful information regarding our organization and how you can get involved.

Our vision is to make recreational and leisure opportunities accessible to all Anne Arundel County residents.

Our mission is to enhance the well being and quality of life of all Anne Arundel County residents by providing recreational opportunities to all citizens including those with challenges or obstacles due to disabilities, financial difficulties or environmental barriers.

We will work toward this mission by fundraising, including seeking grants, promoting recreational opportunities throughout Anne Arundel County, continuing to prioritize accessible programming and creating funding and scholarships.

Watch our News and Events Page for more information about the postponement of the Recreation Deeds Challenge Race Saturday March 28! Due to the Government Social Distancing and at the request of Anne Arundel County we have postponed the race until further notice.

A Big Thank You to

The Chartwell Foundation for supporting our cause.

They generously donated over $7,000 to our scholarship fund from

the proceeds of their annual golf tournament!

All donations received through the year are used to help Anne Arundel County citizens participate in recreation and leisure activities - we were able to provide over $20,000 In individual scholarships and community outreach for program supports to Anne Arundel families in 2019 - THANK YOU!
